| Dragonair to join oneworld on 1 November |
Dragonair will join oneworld on 1 November 2007, the leading quality global airline alliance announced today.
Its addition to oneworld is expected to be completed before the other airline alliances bring their Chinese members elect on board.
Hong Kong-based Dragonair serves more destinations in Mainland China - 19 in total - than any other airline not based there, with some 400 flights a week.

| SAA route to Libreville, Gabon to fly soon |
South African Airways’ (SAA) is moving ahead with the launch of its route to Gabon, with the first flight to Libreville scheduled to depart Johannesburg on Wednesday, 19 September 2007.
The launch of the route is part of SAA’s strategy of focusing on its operations in Africa which is a key growth area for the airline.
SAA will operate two flights per week between the cities using its Airbus A319 aircraft range.

| bmi regional adds extra Aberdeen-Manchester flight |
bmi regional is to add an extra return flight between Aberdeen and Manchester from 3 September.
This takes the total to fourteen flights each weekday between the two cities, the highest frequency of any scheduled service at Aberdeen.
The airline is also retiming some services between Manchester and Edinburgh and Glasgow from 3 September, improving the schedule for travellers.

| Qantas Introduces Bigger Planes and More Services to the West |
The Qantas Group today announced it would move to an all wide-body, twin-aisle aircraft on all of its services from Perth to Sydney and Melbourne within the next two years.
Qantas Executive General Manager John Borghetti said the move, which would see Airbus A330 and Boeing 767 aircraft exclusively used on these services, would provide more than 61,000 seats - an increase of more than 11,700 seats on these routes.
